This test is for students 16 years of age or older. It assesses language proficiency in semi-public, professional and academic situations (school and university), in addition to everyday situations

This is an exam for students 16 and over. The test assesses the student’s ability to independently use the German language in everyday and professional situations. The focus is on communication skills, but there is also an emphasis on using the official language, applying for a visa to train in Germany

The linguistic knowledge of the student at this level should enable him to communicate in all possible situations of everyday life; They must be able to communicate in their private daily life, as well as in the professional environment at a certain level

The candidate must be able to communicate in daily life at a basic level, and to have the ability to understand (listening and reading) more than production (writing and expressing) himself orally, this test is for students aged 14 years and over. Apply for a family reunification visa







ÖSD exams are internationally recognized and range from level A1 to C2. The exams are aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) levels. The exams were adapted in 2019, favouring a format where modules could be taken individually or in combination with one another, with the exception of ÖSD Integration exams.
Exams consisting of two modules
ÖSD exams consisting of two modules Written exam (Reading, Listening, Writing) and Oral exam (Speaking) may be taken individually or in combination with one another.
Exams consisting of four modules
Both exams, ÖSD Zertifikat B1 and ÖSD Zertifikat C2, consist of four modules (Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking) which can be taken individually, or in combination with one another.
