The Director of the Modern Language Center – Jabal Al-Weibdeh speaks to the people
Fares Awad: Our center is one of the raceers to use distance education with skill and proficiency
We met Professor al-Qadir Faris Awad, Director of the Modern Language Center, located in Jabal Al-Weibdeh, near Al-Sayegh Building, where he spoke to us about the technological development in the educational process, and given the competence of Mr. Faris and his long experience in his profession at the Language Center and the fame of this vast and vast and reputable center, we have conducted the following dialogue with Professor Fares:
Echo of the people: Tell us about the stages of technological development in the educational process?
Fares: In light of technology today in the fields of computer and the Internet, there have become many electronic applications that help the student to understand and absorb foreign languages in a fast and smooth way,
and the student can communicate with the teacher through the computer screen at home or even through the mobile phone in his pocket .
Echo of the people: What are the benefits of using technology education remotely in the modern language center?
Fares: There are many benefits, the most important of which are: approximating the distances between the student and the educational provider for the service in our center.
For example, we can teach the English or German language and a group of students in Irbid or in Aqaba with the same courses in Amman and with the same competence of teachers who have been working for many years and with high efficiency In the field of language teaching.
One of the advantages worth noting is that the student who benefits from this service uses his time and saves money through learning in this way, and it is considered one of the easiest ways to obtain it.
Echo of the people: will traditional education stop and the era of distance learning of languages begin?
Fares: There are many people who prefer traditional learning and come to the language center in Jabal Al-Weibdeh to interact and share with other students and find that this method is desirable to them,
but the new generation of students who used to use technology on a large scale especially university students find it a good way to learn and invest their time They are full of university lectures and do not have enough time.
Echo of the People: Does distance learning technology benefit students under the difficult circumstances the region is going through?
Faris: Certainly, such an approach to e-learning is the best solution in difficult circumstances and it provides an opportunity for students to continue to obtain learning experiences and maintain safety and public health.
