14 JulLearning Arabic Cooking for Arabic Language Students (Non-Native Speakers) 🍽️🌍

While many foreigners love Arabic cuisine and enjoy dining at restaurants that serve its rich flavors, most of them rarely try cooking these dishes themselves — mainly because their knowledge of traditional Arabic cooking is quite limited.
That’s why the Modern Language Center in Jabal Al-Luweibdeh launched a one-of-a-kind experience: Arabic cooking classes tailored especially for foreign students. Through these classes, students are introduced to an essential part of Arab culture while learning how to prepare some of the most beloved and authentic dishes — especially traditional Jordanian meals like Maqluba, as well as signature recipes from across the Arab world.
MLC administration is keen on choosing dishes that are both well-known and culturally significant. Cooking, after all, is more than just preparing food — it’s a way to connect with heritage and identity. And what makes these classes truly special is that the final result tastes just like something you’d find at a luxury restaurant! Students also discover many hidden secrets of Arabic cooking — things even some locals don’t know!
