The American Association of Teachers of Arabic (AATA) is a major research hub for the Arabic language concerning language pedagogy, linguistics and literature. Based in Birmingham, Alabama USA, AATA has 9 institutional members including the University of Michigan and Cornell University. As a research hub, AATA unites teachers of the Arabic Language and as a think-tank, AATA advances study and instruction through dialogue, debate, criticism and research.
